Policies & Governance

Below are our core institutional policies that guide our academic, administrative, and student-related procedures. These ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with UK higher education standards.

Admissions Policy

We are committed to a fair and inclusive admissions process.

  • All applicants are assessed based on academic merit, qualifications, and potential.

  • We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds, regardless of nationality, race, gender, or disability.

  • Conditional and unconditional offers are issued in line with entry requirements.

Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Refunds are subject to our withdrawal timeline:

  • Full refund if withdrawal occurs within 14 days of enrollment.

  • 50% refund available within the first 30 days (excluding registration fees).

  • No refunds issued after 30 days unless due to exceptional circumstances.

All withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the Admissions Office.

Academic Integrity Policy
  • Doctoral College UK maintains strict academic standards.

  • Plagiarism, collusion, or fabrication of data are considered serious offences.

  • All submitted work must be the student’s own.

  • Offences may result in failure, suspension, or expulsion.

  • All students are required to complete an Academic Integrity Module upon enrollment.

Equality & Diversity Policy
  • We are dedicated to providing an inclusive learning environment.

  • No discrimination is tolerated based on gender, race, age, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.

  • Reasonable adjustments are made for students with additional needs.

  • Staff undergo regular training in equality and inclusion.

Complaints & Appeals Policy
  • Students may submit complaints or appeal academic decisions.

  • Complaints must first be addressed informally with the staff member involved.

  • If unresolved, a formal written complaint can be submitted to the Student Support Office.

  • Appeals related to grades or progression will be reviewed by the Academic Board.

Data Protection & Privacy Policy
  • We fully comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

  • Student data is only collected for academic and administrative purposes.

  • Information is never shared without consent, except where legally required.

  • Students have the right to access or request removal of their personal data.
