When Doctoral College UK (DCUK) started looking at Edinburgh region for to base their physical campus, Midlothian Business Gateway was approached for advice. From this initial meeting advice has flowed freely from the Midlothian team to DCUK.
Business Gateway Midlothian offers expert help and support to new and existing businesses. Business Gateway Midlothian, working with Midlothian Council, offers a range of support to new and existing businesses in the area.
The Energy Training Academy
This partnership was brought about through Midlothian Business gateway when DCUK started their Innovation Clinics for SME's. The Energy Training Academy, are dedicated to helping young people embark on a rewarding career in the field of gas engineering. Located at Eskbank, Dalkeith, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant city of Edinburgh, the academy is the premier destination for those seeking high-quality gas engineer training.

University of Greater Manchester
Our partnership with University of Greater Manchester is as a Doctoral Studies partner, with student recruitment to PhD at University of Greater Manchester Business School. In addition to this University of Greater Manchester do invite qualified Doctoral College Academic Staff to join them in supervising PhD students.​

Our partnership with UK Government for Universities and Colleges Admissions Services is as a registered centre. The benefits of being a UCAS registered centre is the unique access to applications during the application process. Centres are able to use the UCAS adviser portal to manage, send, and track the progress of their students' applications.​
BRITISH COUNCIL
Our partnership with BRITISH COUNCIL is as trained agents. The comprehensive nature of the training gives UK education providers confidence that they are working in partnership with knowledgeable and ethical education agents and importantly it gives prospective international students confidence that they will enjoy a high-quality experience when considering studying and living in the UK.​
Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA)
Our partnership with SQA is as an approved centre. The Scottish Qualifications Authority, or SQA, is a public body sponsored by the Scottish Government responsible for the development, accreditation, assessment and certification of qualifications. Unlike other bodies, the SQA is not paid to provide accreditation – organisations must complete a rigorous application process which involves scrutiny of quality assurance, tutorial and marking procedures, and many other aspects before earning the right to be known as an SQA Approved Centre.
