The 5th November 2024 was exciting for Doctoral College UK as we celebrated the launch of our collaboration with Edinburgh College!

A huge thank you to Edinburgh College’s inspiring ‘can-do team’—Jon Buglass, Shona Pettigrew, Victoria Paterson, Liam Conway, Jamie Murphy, Sarah Gore, and everyone involved—for making the event truly memorable.

Special appreciation to Annie Watt at Midlothian Council for her vision and initiative in bringing this partnership to life. Looking forward to the positive impact we’ll create together! 

 

This new collaborative partnership between the two esteemed educational institutions will bring post graduate students to the area, unlocking research, collaboration and innovation opportunities for students, local schools and businesses in Midlothian. 

Midlothian Council’s Economic Development Service played an instrumental role in the development of the partnership by realising the unique potential a collaboration between the two entities could deliver for Midlothian and Edinburgh, and introducing the parties.
